USAC Cyclocross National Calendar Standings: Half-Way There

For many, it’s hard to believe that this past weekend marked the midway point of the 2009 USAC Cyclocross National Racing Calendar. The season, which began in mid-September, will roll right on through November into early December before wrapping up in Oregon.

The big winners this past weekend were Dan Timmerman and Maureen Bruno Roy who picked up a pair of wins in New Gloucester, Maine at Downeast Cyclocross Days one and two. Katerina Nash picked up the elite women’s win at both rounds of the USGP of Cyclocross in Louisville, Kentucky. While Ryan Trebon and Tim Johnson split the elite men’s race titles.

Halfway through the 2009 USAC Cyclocross National Racing Calendar, Jeremy Powers and Maureen Bruno-Roy lead the elite men’s and women’s standings with 234 and 165 points respectively. Here’s the rest of the top-five:

  3. Sue Butler – 124
  4. Katie Compton – 120
  5. Laura Van Gilder – 118

Men’s Standings

  1. Jermemy Powers – 234
